Every Chrysalis dress is handmade in our studio in London using luxury deadstock single wool crepe from Italy and Chantilly lace from Paris. The ties for each dress are cut from the selvedge of the wool crepe, so that no part of the fabric is wasted. The raw edges and lace panels blur the lines between sensuality and strength in a timeless design that speaks to our constant rebirth.
The fabrics have a slight stretch and a corset tie finish in the back to allow for a flexible fit. With the corset tie all the way closed as in the photos it fits true to size for the smaller size in each range (e.g. in the 10-12 size range, the dress would be a size 10 all the way closed). All sizes specified are UK sizes.
